My name is Robert King, and I am a Land Agent with AlaLandCo, our area’s premier land and farm sales company. I am a native of Clay County, Alabama and have lived here all of my life. I have 10+ years experience in marketing and selling property in Alabama and I am dedicated to providing the top-notch service to land sellers and land buyers that only a Land Sales Professional can.

In 2003, I joined AlaLandCo, an up and coming land marketing firm located in Dadeville, Alabama, so that I could make my living doing something I love--that's being outdoors and meeting new people. Since then our firm has expanded greatly. We have truly become The Alabama Land Sales Leader. In the time since joining the AlaLandCo Team, my personal business and contacts have grown and I finished my formal education with a B.S. in Ag Business and Economics from Auburn University.

Personally, I live on and help operate our family's cattle operation, King Cattle Farm. I am married and have two wonderful sons. I love living and working on the farm. My pastimes include canoeing, hiking, fishing, and hunting. East Central Alabama affords me and my family great opportunities to participate in all of these pastimes and to spend time together in the beautiful Alabama outdoors.

Personally, I focus on land and farms in East Central Alabama.  Currently, I am working with buyers and sellers of property in the following counties:

Clay County, Alabama
Cleburne County, Alabama
Coosa County, Alabama
Randolph County, Alabama
Talladega County, Alabama
Tallapoosa County, Alabama

These counties comprise most of what is known as the "Piedmont Region" of Alabama.  Here you will find rolling hills, some mountainous area, pastureland, small farms, abundant timberland and hunting land, and a very rural culture.  The Talladega National Forest is located in this region, as well as the Tallapoosa and Coosa Rivers.  There is a limited amount of cropland in the area as well.  Some of the better known local attractions are:

Mount Cheaha State Park, the highest point in the State of Alabama.  Located in the corners of Clay County, Cleburne County, and Talladega County, just south of Oxford, Alabama.

Several Lakes on the Coosa and Tallapoosa Rivers
Coosa River Lakes:  Lake Logan Martin, Lay Lake
Tallapoosa River Lakes:  Lake Wedowee, Lake Martin

Wind Creek State Park is located on Lake Martin.  Swimming, camping, boating, and fishing can all be enjoyed at this very family-friendly park located just south of Alexander City.

The Talladega National Forest: Located along the ridges that form the southernmost extension of the Appalachian Mountians, many opportunities for hiking, hunting, off-roading, horseback riding, and leisurely drives are available here.  There are several nice creeks and rivers that are great for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking as well.  Hatchett Creek and Talladega Creek are probably some of the better known streams in the area that offer this type of recreation.

As you can see, East Central Alabama abounds in outdoor recereational opportunities.  If you have Alabama Land for Sale or would like to purchase a farm, ranch, or a forest land investment tract we need to talk! My commitment to my customers and clients is to provide the top-notch service that only an experienced Land Sales Professional can!
